Hard Gel & Gel Extensions
The hard gel & gel extension course is aimed at nail technicians with prior experience in gel polish or builder gel who would like to expand their treatment menu. If you have never completed an accredited nail course before this course option is not appropriate, please check out my gel polish course or the complete beginners course. Hard gel is one of the most long-standing services in the industry, and when done correctly can be used to strengthen and enhance growth of the natural nail, as well as reduce breaks, lifting, and chipping, and with extra skill and knowledge is the perfect tool to create strong, healthy & beautiful nail extensions. This one-day course will allow you to expand your service list, and improve your versatility as a nail tech – catering to a wider client base. This course comes with a hard gel kit included.
How It Works Theory
Once you have signed up to the course and chosen your training date, you will receive access to an online education portal with The Beauty Guild – the awarding body for your accreditation. Here you will complete your mandatory theory modules, which will give you the necessary knowledge and tools to confidently complete your in person practical. It is compulsory that you complete this online theory prior to attending your in person training so that we can focus entirely on enhancing your practical skills.
Practical
Upon attendance of your practical day, we will take the time to ensure you are up to speed and ready to get stuck into your training, where you will receive full product lists and must-haves, practice hygiene standards, observe in-depth demonstrations, and complete an assessment on a model. This is a hands-on day where you will be supervised and nurtured throughout, our private 1-1 environment means you are able to take things at your own pace.

Support Post-training you will have access to ongoing support, and you are free to reach out for advice regarding anything from technique to product recommendations. It is advised that throughout your training you make notes and take reference photos – this will be encouraged at key times by Harriet. Filming equipment can also be provided on the day if you would like to set up your phone and take footage to look back on.
